These fortunate attendees will enjoy VIP treatment — 3 full days of personal handgun instruction, gun giveaways, and other fun activities including Pro Gun Club fun shoots, and more!

Born on December 15, 1981, Max Michel was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Introduced to Practical Shooting by his father in 1991, Michel quickly distinguished himself by breaking numerous national junior records, earning the attention of the elite U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU).

Recruited to the USAMU Action Pistol Team in 1999, Michel began a 10-year career as an Army shooter and trainer. As a Staff Sergeant and Military Coach, he played a key role in developing firearms training programs that enhanced the combat readiness of soldiers during the Global War on Terrorism, drawing on his extensive competitive shooting experience.

Today, Max Michel, Jr. is recognized as one of the most dominant shooters in the world. A Guinness World Record holder, IPSC World Champion, and 13-time USPSA National Champion, he also holds multiple World Speed Shooting records and remains the only competitor to win all eight USPSA Area Championships in a single season. Michel has represented the United States at eight IPSC World Shoots, earning team gold medals at each event.
